SlimPort - Computer Definition
An interface from Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. (www.analogix.com) that lets people view images and HD video content in their mobile devices on a TV or monitor. Based on the Mobility DisplayPort standard, SlimPort enhances the Micro USB port found on many smartphones and tablets. SlimPort-enabled devices can connect to any screen with HDMI, DVI, VGA or DisplayPort inputs. In 2012, the LG-made Google Nexus 4 was one of the first phones to incorporate SlimPort. See DisplayPort.
