Skíros
also Sky·ros or Scy·ros (skīˈrəs, skēˈrôs)
An island of eastern Greece in the Aegean Sea northeast of Euboea. Occupied by Athenians in the fifth century B.C., it is the largest of the Northern Sporades Islands.
