In the United States, the act that established the Federal Radio Commission to regulate all radio spectrum, except bands owned by federal government. The Communications Act of 1934 replaced the Federal Radio Commission with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). See also band, Communications Act of 1934, FCC, and spectrum.
