Para-aminobenzoic Acid Definition

A yellowish isomer of aminobenzoic acid, that is a component of folic acid, widely distributed in nature, esp. in yeast, and utilized as a vitamin by organisms that synthesize folic acid: it absorbs ultraviolet light and is used in suntan lotions.
