Ogg Vorbis - Computer Definition
An open source lossy audio compression method from the Xiph.Org Foundation (www.xiph.org). The Vorbis codec generates 16 bit samples at 16 KHz to 48 KHz and bit rates from 16 to 128 Kbps per channel. Ogg Vorbis is considered better than MP3 and comparable to AAC in sound quality while providing lower bit rates and smaller file sizes. See Ogg and Ogg Theora.
