- The Uto-Aztecan language of this people, closely related to Pima. In both senses also called Papago, Tohono O'odham.
- A person of Tohono O'Odham, Akimel O'Odham, or otherwise O'Odham ancestry, Tohono O'Odham are formerly known as the Papago. The Akimel O'Odham are formerly known as the Pima.
