Nuking Hacker Definition
A form of abuse found in Internet
chat rooms. An example of nuking is sending someone a large
number of ICMP or other
high-priority packets, thus
provoking a Denial of Service
attack. If the victim has a low connection speed compared to the senders, he
or she may get dropped from various Internet services (such as IRC), because his or her machine is so
busy handling the high-priority packets that it does not handle the
lower-priority packets before it idles out.
