tubercle definition - medical
tu·ber·cle (to͞oˈbər-kəl)
noun- An anatomical nodule. Also called tuberculum.
- A small elevation on the surface of a tooth.
- A nodule or swelling, especially a mass of lymphocytes and epithelioid cells forming the characteristic granulomatous lesion of tuberculosis.
