tran·si·ent acantholytic dermatosis (trănˈshənt, -zhənt, -zē-ənt)
noun Abbr. TAD A papular eruption that occurs chiefly on the chest and back in which the tissues are affected with acantholysis, lasting from a few weeks to several months and occurring predominantly in males over the age of 40.
