Thomp·son's test (tŏmpˈsənz, tŏmˈ-)

noun
A test for determining the extent of gonorrhea in which an infected patient urinates first into one glass and then into another; if gonococci and gonorrheal threads are found only in the first glass, the probability is that the infection is limited to the anterior urethra. Also called two-glass test.
