Sanfilippo's syndrome definition - medical
San·fi·lip·po's syndrome (sănˌfə-lĭpˈōz)
noun An inherited disorder of mucopolysaccharide metabolism, characterized by the presence of heparitin sulfate in the urine, enlargement of the liver, severe mental retardation, and, sometimes, skeletal abnormalities. Also called type III mucopolysaccharidosis.
