parieto-occipital sulcus definition - medical
pa·ri·e·to-oc·cip·i·tal sulcus (pə-rīˌĭ-tō-ŏk-sĭpˈĭ-tl)
noun A deep fissure on the medial surface of the cerebral cortex, marking the border between the parietal lobe and the cuneus of the occipital lobe. Also called parieto-occipital fissure.
