paraphasia definition - medical
par·a·pha·sia (părˌə-fāˈzhə) or par·a·phra·sia (-frāˈzhə)
noun Aphasia in which one loses the power of speaking correctly, substitutes one word for another, and jumbles words and sentences in such a way as to make speech unintelligible. Also called paragrammatism.
