Jod-Basedow phenomenon definition - medical
Jod-Basedow phenomenon (yŏdˈ-)
noun Induction of thyrotoxicosis in a previously normal individual as a result of exposure to large quantities of iodine. Also called iodine-induced hyperthyroidism.
