interim denture definition - medical
in·ter·im denture (ĭnˈtər-ĭm)
noun A dental prosthesis that is used for a short period of time for esthetics or occlusal support or to condition the patient to accept an artificial substitute for missing natural teeth. Also called temporary denture.
