hyperesthesia definition - medical
hy·per·es·the·sia or hy·per·aes·the·sia (hīˌpər-ĭs-thēˈzhə)
noun An abnormal or pathological increase in sensitivity to sensory stimuli, as of the skin to touch or the ear to sound. Also called oxyesthesia.
