he·mo·phil·i·a (hēˌmə-fĭlˈē-ə, -fēlˈyə)
noun Any of several hereditary blood-coagulation disorders, manifested almost exclusively in males, in which the blood fails to clot normally because of a deficiency or an abnormality of one of the clotting factors.
