glu·cu·ron·i·dase (glo͞oˌkyə-rŏnˈĭ-dāsˌ, -dāzˌ)
noun An enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of various glucuronides, especially one that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the beta form of a glucuronide.
