fore·con·scious (fôrˈkŏnˌshəs)
adjective Capable of being called into the conscious mind but not currently in the realm of consciousness.
noun The part of the psyche that contains thoughts, feelings, and impulses that are not currently part of one's consciousness but that can be readily called into consciousness. Also called preconscious.
