noun
  1. A spectrophotometric test used to determine the quantity of uric acid in urine in which a phosphotungstic acid is mixed with a base.
  2. A test used to determine the quantity of urea in urine in which urea is decomposed by boiling with magnesium chloride and the freed ammonia is measured.
