familial intestinal polyposis
noun- A hereditary disorder characterized by polyposis of the mucosa of the colon with no associated lesions. Polyps usually form in late childhood and may cover the mucosal surface.
- Polyposis of the small or large intestine associated with Gardner's, Peutz-Jeghers, Turcot, and Zollinger-Ellison syndromes.
