e·las·to·sis (ĭ-lă-stōˈsĭs, ēˌlă-)
noun- A degenerative change in elastic tissue.
- The degeneration of connective tissue in the skin, in such a manner that many tissues resemble elastin when stained. Also called elastoid degeneration.
