dipeptidyl carboxypeptidase definition - medical
di·pep·ti·dyl carboxypeptidase (dī-pĕpˈtĭ-dĭlˌ)
noun A proteolytic enzyme that catalyzes the removal of dipeptides from a variety of compounds, as from angiotensin I as it is converted to angiotensin II. Also called angiotensin-converting enzyme.
