coordinate bond definition - medical
co·or·di·nate bond (kō-ôrˈdn-ĭt, -ātˌ)
noun A covalent chemical bond between two atoms that is produced when one atom shares a pair of electrons with another atom lacking such a pair. Also called semipolar bond.
