cel·e·cox·ib (sĕlˌə-cŏkˈsĭb)
noun An nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that selectively inhibits the formation of prostaglandins and is used primarily to treat pain and other symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthrititis, and other joint and musculoskeletal conditions.
