adjective
  1. Unable to see; without useful sight.
  2. Having a maximal visual acuity of the better eye, after correction by refractive lenses, of one-tenth normal vision or less (20/200 or less on the Snellen test).
  3. Of, relating to, or for sightless persons.
  4. Closed at one end, as a tube or sac.
