a·syn·cli·tism (ā-sĭnˈklĭ-tĭzˌəm, ə-sĭnˈ-)
noun Absence of synclitism or parallelism between the axis of the presenting part of the fetus and the pelvic planes during childbirth. Also called obliquity.
