The people at yourDictionary.com have devised a simple way for you to search our English dictionary-thesaurus from any web location! By placing YD's handy Lookup Button on your browser's toolbar, you can quickly search our "Quick Lookup" dictionary-thesaurus at any time on any website on the Web. Simply highlight the word you wish to look up, then click the yourDictionary lookup button. If you wish to look up a word that is not on a web page, just click the lookup button and type in the word you wish to look up in the small, unobtrusive window that pops up. Either way, you get the definition of the word from the world's authority on the English language. Internet Explorer offers a "Links" toolbar for your bookmark buttons. When enabled, this toolbar is the bottom toolbar above the browser window. Here are the easy instructions for placing your personal yourDictionary lookup button on your Internet Explorer 5 or 6: 1. First check to make sure that JavaScript support is enabled. Begin at "Tools" on the main Microsoft Internet Explorer menu and follow this procedure to enable script support: Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom, ActiveX controls, +plug-ins, Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting: enable! 2. Make sure your Links toolbar is visible at the top of your browser. If it is not, choose View/Toolbar and check "Links". The links toolbar will appear below the other toolbars at the top of your browser.

| Netscape Navigator/Communicator offers a "Personal Toolbar" for your bookmark buttons. When enabled, this toolbar is the bottom toolbar above the browser window. | If you have an older version of Netscape Navigator, you will need to use the "Save Link As" option to install the yourDictionary lookup link to your list of bookmarks, as follows (it's
easy!): 1. Windows Users: click the right mouse button here: yourDictionary Lookup and choose "Save Link As" from the pop-up menu. Mac users: hold themouse over the above link until the "Save Link As" option appears. All users: Keep the default filename "filename"; when prompted. Take note of where on your system you save the file! 2. Open the bookmark manager (Bookmarks, Go to Bookmarks) or (Edit Bookmarks). Now import the file you just saved (Select: "File" then "Import") by locating the file in your computer and clicking "Open". 3. A new bookmark folder will now be added to your list of bookmarks entitled "yourDictionary Lookup" which contains the bookmark "yourDictionary Lookup". Drag the bookmark into your "Personal |
