The older and more discriminating form of DNA testing. Restriction Fragment Length Poly- morphism is a process that breaks DNA strands into tiny fragments at specific points on the DNA chain. Also known as HLA DQ Alpha, or simply DQ Alpha. Abbreviated RFLP. See also PCR and DNA.
