PCR
PCR definition - legal
abbr
Stands for polymerase
chain reaction, the newest (at this writing) method of DNA analysis. Using PCR technique, it is possible to
analyze a biological specimen that is one-tenth the size of that required for
the older RFLP method. It also
gives quicker results, but the analysis is not as discriminating as RFLP.
