Iguazú

(ēˌgwə-zo͞oˈ) or I·gua·çú (-so͞oˈ)

A river, about 1,199 km (745 mi) long, of southern Brazil flowing west to the Paraná River at the Argentina-Paraguay-Brazil border. Just above the border it forms Iguazú Falls, consisting of a series of cataracts averaging 61 m (200 ft) high and separated by rocky crags and islands.
