The House Rules Committee, formally called the Committee on Rules, is defined as a group of members from the U.S. House of Representatives who review all the bills and decide if, and in what order, the bills will be presented to the House for consideration.

An example of the House Rules Committee is the group in Congress who could make a decision to immediately put a bill on the House schedule and to designate that the bill will not have any debate time.
