WinNuke Exploit of 1997 definition - hacker
First published on BUGTRAQ in May 1997, it was designed to cause Windows
3.11, Windows 95, and Windows NT machines to crash. This information was
quickly seized upon by the online chat and gaming community, who used it to
crash other peopleÂ’s machines while online, especially while they were in IRC rooms.
