The Matrix of 1999
The Matrix of 1999 definition - hacker
The 1999 movie
The Matrix is of interest to
many in the Computer Underground
because it showed how a hacker
learned from a group of rebels about his reality and his function in the war
against those having control of his reality. Neo (played by actor Keanu Reeves)
discovered that all life on Earth may be nothing more than a well-done and
highly complex facade created by evil cyber intelligence to pacify earthly
beings while their life essence is removed from them and used to fuel the
MatrixÂ’s campaign of taking over the world. The protagonist Neo joined fellow
Rebel warriors Morpheus (played by actor Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity
(played by Carrie Ann Moss) in their attempts to overthrow the Matrix.
