A U.S. Congressional panel concerned with threats to the United States and its allies from weapons of mass destruction, including bioterrorism and cyberterrorism. In 2000, Dr. Dorothy Denning gave testimony before the panel saying that cyberspace is constantly under assault and vulnerable to cyberattacks against targeted individuals, companies, and governments—a point repeated by White Hat hackers for the past 20 years.
