Node definition - hacker
Any devices attached to a telecommunications
network such as cell phones,
computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other network appliances. In
the IP domain, any device having
an IP address is called a node.
Servers in a clustering setting, such as database clusters or Web farms (large
installations of Web servers), are also called nodes.
