Internet Fraud definition - hacker

(legal term)

Encompasses a wide range of online criminal activities that deliver harm to the targets such as credit card fraud, online auction fraud, unsolicited email (Spam) fraud, and online child pornography. In the United States, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC), a partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), was created to address Internet fraud.
