Evasion
Evasion definition - hacker
To undertake an attack in such a way that it remains undetected
by the Intrusion Detection System. Typically, an attacker has to know how an
IDS reacts to certain attack patterns; the attacker then changes these patterns
so that the attack blends in with the rest of the traffic and thus remains
undetected.
