Fixed Mobile Convergence - Computer Definition
A term coined by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) for the seamless melding of fixed IP
An umbrella term for the seamless switching between fixed and mobile devices. Fixed mobile convergence (FMC) may refer to handsets that switch between cellular and Wi-Fi or to starting a movie on the big-screen TV and continue it on a smartphone or tablet and vice versa. See dual-mode handset.
