term sheet definition - finance
A document that outlines the terms of an investment that investors plan to make in a company. The term sheet includes the amount of money that will be invested, the schedule of payments, and the value that the investment places on each share of stocks. Typically, a term sheet is used in the venture capital industry and is prepared by the lead investor.
