statement of operations definition - finance
A financial report prepared by a mutual fund that reveals how a mutual fundÂ’s net assets have changed during the reporting period due to the fundÂ’s operations. It shows whether the fund made or lost money from dividend payments, interest income, fees, expenses, and investment gains or losses.
