Rubin, Robert definition - finance
The chairman of CitigroupÂ’s Executive Committee and a member of its Office of the Chairman. From January 1995 to July 1999, he was the U.S. Treasury Secretary under President Bill Clinton. From 1993 to 1995, he directed ClintonÂ’s National Economic Council. Before going into government service, Rubin spent 26 years at Goldman Sachs & Co., where, from 1990 to 1992, he was co-chairman and co-senior partner.
