portfolio beta score definition - finance
A beta score calculated for an entire investment portfolio, not just individual stocks. Beta measures the volatility of an investment relative to the market as a whole. A beta of 1 indicates that the stock moves in tandem with the market. A score over 1 indicates that the stock will rise or fall to a greater degree than the market.
