Technical analysis tools that are used to examine price movements and make trading decisions. Some types of oscillators are relative strength index (RSI), stochastics, moving averages, and momentum. Momentum is one of the simplest oscillators and is the difference between the price of a security today and the price at a specific point, such as ten days ago. This example would be called ten-day momentum.
