mode
mode definition - finance
The
number in a series of numbers that occurs most frequently. If each observation
occurs an equal number of times, there is no mode. If two or more observations
occur the same number of times, then there is more than one mode, in which case
the sample is called multimodal. For example, the mode of 2, 1, 5, and 1 is 1.
