London Stock Exchange definition - finance
The primary stock exchange of the United Kingdom, where more than 470 companiesÂ’ stocks from more than 60 countries trade. A variety of financial instruments are traded on the LSE, including stocks, bonds, warrants, and exchange-traded funds. Its leading index is the London Financial Times Stock Index 100 (FTSI, pronounced FOOT-sie).
