listing broker definition - finance
A licensed real estate professional who obtains the contractual right to sell a house or commercial property. Often, a listing broker shares the commission earned with the selling broker. Listings may be exclusive to the real estate office, or may be advertised among all brokers through a multiple listing service. Also called listing agent.
