lean hogs definition - finance
A futures contract traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). The lean hog contract began trading in November 1995 with the February 1997 contract and improved upon the live hog futures and options contracts that previ-ously had been traded. Both futures and options are traded on lean hogs at the CME.
