Jobs, Steven definition - finance
The creator of the Apple computer, along with Steve Wozniak. They used a color television monitor that was designed to appeal to non-technical people to create the Apple in 1976, which formed the basis of Apple Computer, Inc. and was targeted at educators and schools. In 1984, the Macintosh, the next-generation Apple, was produced. In 1985, Jobs was forced out of the company he had started, so he and a few Apple employees started a company called Next Inc., which was acquired by Apple. He later rejoined Apple Computer Inc. and is its chief executive officer, as of this printing. In 1986 he co-founded Pixar, the Academy-Award-winning animation studio.
