IPE Natural Gas futures definition - finance
A futures contract based on natural gas, the first non-oil contract on the London-based International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) that began trading in January 1997. Natural Gas futures contracts are traded electronically on the IPEÂ’s automated Energy Trading System. Physical delivery takes place within the U.K. natural gas grid at the National Balancing Point (NBP).
